Unlike other nations,Kenya is much lucky to have a great advantage as a nation full of young, vibrant, energetic and highly creative youths.Youths in Kenya account to about 75% of Kenyan Population as record by World Bank research. This is a true reflection that the youths are the majority in the Kenya.
Having the majority, someone may ask him or herself what the youths have done, currently doing or what they are planning to do in order to revive the current Kenyan Economy.
Even though useful youths have many impacts to the society, the rapidly growing youth unemployment which is a rise almost allover in African continent, it has attributed to huge economic challenges that has lead to slow down in economic growth ,increased crime rate, poor living standards, high mortal rate, starvation amongst others. The Youths are the economic force that can drive and creat demand for goods and services especially due to the growing digital economy.

The current status of the Kenyan economy is not pleasing at any angle, citizens are suffering most so the vulnerable families, people living with disabilities, people living in areas affected by natural calamities such as drought and many other categories. What is sort to be addressed is the long term solution to the falling Economy if indeed Kenya has the necessary resources.
There are quit a number of activities the Kenyan youths can lay hands on and in turn be the solutions.
Inorder to improve livelihoods, programmes of laying a better access to education shall be key.
Our youths should be induced to learning the basic skills so as to advance their techniques and skills in appropriate fields of occupation. On the other hand, the Government should also lay good strategies to make sure employment opportunities are raised in abundance to settle the huge number of unemployed youths. The Government gets some revenue for running the day to day activities mainly from the taxes paid by the citizens, if then youths are the majority and by their majority status they don't pay taxes, that's a loss and a burden to the Government.
So as to improve the current economic status,Youths should emulate Agriculture and business related operations. Currently a good number of youths yawn for the office jobs which in reality are less.
Change is necessary, inevitable and real.
